I am a physiotherapist with a passion for rehab within football. I work via the Football Rehab model developed by Dutch football coach Raymond Verheijen together with manual therapist Mikael Kuijpers.
I studied sports coaching at CIOS in Sittard, the Netherlands. Followed by physiotherapy in Utrecht. Since 2012 I have been fortunate to be part of a privileged group of people studying football and related topics lead by Raymond Verheijen´s World Football Academy. As a football coach I hold a UEFA-B license.
My work experience, since 2005, comes from the KNVB (Dutch Football Association) medical department, including working with national youth teams, U20 World Cup in the Netherlands in 2005, Viking FK reserve team, Bryne FK 1st team, Nesodden Fk 1st team and Sola Handball for several years.
Currently I work as a football rehab physiotherapist at Klinikk for Alle in Stavanger, Norway. I also coach an U19 team in the 2nd division. Besides coaching the communication(tactics), together with my colleague, I am responsible for the team periodisation, individual periodisation and rehab program of the players.
Quality before Quantity.
